Arbitrary Post

Its been a very long time since you might have seen a new post coming up! Well, even we missed you a lot too! The urge of writing was always there, but just lack of time! It ain't easier either to write blogs like we do. We need to carefully choose our words so that they hit the reader hard and leave an impact. And we need to go through a lot of things that effect the teens of today & also make sure that there is nothing repeated of the same kind.
Well, studies have kept us busy and I just happen to have this thought of how studies can take toll on most of the teens' hobbies. Writing has personally been my hobby, and studies just took away the hobby from me.
And today, as soon as I got time I'm here writing back!
There have been hell lots of ideas that crept up my head, which I would love to share with you all, not today but some other day.
And yeah, a little advice that I would like to give - Never ignore studies. If you do then well you are ending up nowhere unless you are one of those people who think that they can do something other than studies and also have their parents' back. Studies will surely help you become something respectable in the society and earn you a livelihood.
All the best, enjoy and wait for our next blog!
Adios!

We Are Our Own Prisoners

It is said "Life starts outside the comfort zone", but does it?
Have you ever tried doing something out of the box? Something you thought you could never do? If you haven't then you are living life the wrong way!
Back to where we started, Yes life does start outside the comfort zone!
Once you are out of your routine path, you get to know where you stand! You know what your strengths and weaknesses are! You realise who you are!
You might ask, what's the harm in staying in the comfort zone while I am happy? Well, you wouldn't find any harm now, but sooner or later this thought of yours will surely cause you troubles.
Just before its too late, come out and live. Take risks even if you fail. Just don't jail yourself inside the walls of your comfort zone.
Moving out of your comfort zone might not give you the taste of success, but it surely will teach you a lesson to remember for your lifetime! That one lesson will change the way you take life as or may be change your life completely, but yes, surely it'll have a big impact.
Don't be your own prisoner. Stop complaining. People who are in prisons are criminals! Don't make yourself one!
Move out of the comfort zone, live a better life.
Adios.

Menstrual Cycle - A Feminist Lifespan Perspective !!

Do not touch pickle, Do not exercise, Do not wear white clothes etc . These are some of the statements that Indian women have heard every month when they experience the Menstrual cycle. Menstrual taboos shape many religious and social practices across the globe. Certain religious traditions consider this cycle impure and thus, the menstruating women are banned from religious rites, food preparation etc. Many religious traditions consider menstruation defile and ritually unclean.

We boldly say that we live in the 21st century and have revolved with the time. But I don’t feel so that our thinking has revolved with the time. People still consider it a shame and insensible to discuss in public about the gender issues, social taboos and the problems and changes that women face in day to day lives.
The menstrual cycle is one of the most important biological differences between females and males. This cycle enables that a girl is all set for fertilisation and to give birth to an offspring. To get a new born baby into this world, a woman has to undergo so many changes and equally face a lot of problems. But to discuss about these problems it is considered defile. People should understand that this cycle is a part of women’s daily life. All over the world girls and young women experience the menstrual cycle. It is a natural process just as ocean flowing. But in many countries the subject is enshrouded with shame and harsh impractilities.

Girls are still considered a burden even after so much of public awareness programmes. ‘Female Foeticide’ is still practiced in many areas of the world though it is illegal. They kill girls as people still believe that girls are not capable like the boys. But my question is who are we to decide who is capable and who is not? And because of this the numbers of girls are decreasing.
 We must leave things for nature to decide. Chance combination of X and Y sperms with ova when left to nature automatically results in balancing the population of two sexes. Then, we must respect WOMAN, since only they help in bringing up of babies, and not the man.

People, especially some women have voluntarily begun to spread awareness about the importance about the menstrual cycle and are trying to break the social taboo. But such women are countable. Its effect hasn’t still spread. There are still thousands who aren’t aware about this biological process. Its time that we youngsters raise our voice against this taboo in full action and take up all steps to break the myths against the girls and their problems.

The Stranger In Me !!

In the deepest caverns of my heart, in the furthest corners of my mind,
There lies a companion, a guarding presence,
A formless friend,
A stranger in me.

He wakes me up at dawn, He tired me by dusk,
He makes me feel hungry when my body needs food,
He controls me, in every thought of mind, in every action of body ;
He is within me, but without as well. Truly,
A stranger in me.

He guides me through all walks of life, be it bright or bleak.
Like a caring mother, nourishes my soul when situations turn bitter.
Like a strict father, chides me when i divert from the path of morals,
Like a true friend, praises me when I excel.
How many roles does this thin enigmatic presence play? I am grateful that I have,
The stranger in me.

He has no likes, nor dislikes;
He is neither cold, nor warm;
He wants nothing of mine, but he sustains me
He is perfect, the kind of perfect that humans quest for.
He is the one who remains awake after I sleep, He is
The stranger in me.

He pulls the strings of my life,
Judges my every action;
He patiently listens to all my sorrows,
And offers soothing consolation.
He knows all about me, But I know very little about Him;
Truly strange,is he not?
The stranger in me.

All have a stranger in them, a twist in the plane of logic,
Who feds their souls, fuels their passions,
And in accordance to situations, offers reactions.
Many people, like me, endeavour to find Him.
Scientists want to quantify Him, Philosophers want to realize Him;
But after deep thought and retrospect.
It dawned on me that the Stranger, is no stranger at all.
He is the one who makes me unique, sets me apart from all else.
He is the one who governs my thoughts, and makes me listen to what it tells.
This might be absurd, as it makes no sense to me too,
But if I look deep inside, deeper than the cloudy veil of thoughts and emotions,
I found the core essence of my being, and realized that,
The stranger in me.

Price: 8GB – Rs. 12,999 | 16GB – Rs. 13,999

So where does this pricing put the Moto G? Well it puts it in the league of budget smartphones like the Lumia 525, Samsung Galaxy Core, Lumia 620 , XPERIA M and other creaky Micromax , Karbonn Phones which never receive updates. And on comparing the specs, None of the phones in this league pack a 720p IPS display Panel, Latest Snapdragon Quad core Chip and Android Kitkat in the same Package, Of course Barring the Lumias, Because they run on Windows phone 8. So the Moto G wipes the floor with them.
The Moto G has a pretty Industrial, Sturdy, To the point Design that exudes Simplicity. No Logos on the front and A pleasant to the eye curved design that takes cues from it's brother in the high end- Moto X. And yes, For those who may call it fat and thick at 11.6 mm, It's not that thick in your hand, It's a curve going from 6.0 to 11.6 mm , So 11.6 mm is the thickest point of the phone, In hand it feels like a 9 mm thin phone.It's quite comfortable to hold in the hand, and at 143 grams it has a heft to it, reassuring you of quality, rather than feeling heavy.

The screen is a 4.5 inch 720p display at a pixel density of 329 ppi higher than that of phones thrice it's price- " iPhone 5c and 5s, I'm Looking at ya". And it's not only the sharpness of the screen that strikes you, But also the color reproduction and contrast that can boggle your mind. And The screen has a layer of Corning's Latest Gorilla Glass 3, So It not only protects it from scratches but also hammer drops - " you heard me Damn right - Hammers".
Also,  as motorola calls it it they have a water resistant nano coating to protect from "splashes"  Please motorola,  Stahp being so humble,  I have tested the phone out by dipping it in the pool,  It is waterproof, Not only splash proof. So in other words with gorilla glass 3 and waterproofing,  you may call this phone the unrelated successor to the Nokia 3310. "Indestructible" yeah it feels like it in in your hand.

Why the past?

Many people around the world have problems with their pasts. Some people have had horrified past while some people have been lucky enough to have had pleasant and peaceful pasts. Everyone cannot escape their pasts! Each one has to deal with it
Many a times people often fail to forget their pasts because of going through horrified situations. They think about it all day long, make themselves depressed and lose out on the enjoyments of life. But isn't there any solution to it? The problem isn't about the past. The problem is with people. People never try to think of finding a solution and they never do. They always think that they are the only people who face it being unknown to pasts of other people around them! They are their own prisoners.
There are also people who have overcame their pasts and moved in life learning from it. They have kept a constant smile and have accepted the fact about their past.
To those people who haven't been able to move on accepting their past, we have found a solution. The solution is simple- CHANGE.
Yes, changing the way you think about your past will surely help you to move on. Instead of thinking how much pain it cause you, think how much it taught you. Get to know your mistakes, learn them and just do the same mistakes again. Trust me, this simple solution will change the way you are living with your horrified past and make your life a lot better.

"Yesterday is gone, Tomorrow has not come, today is a gift (that's why its called present),
dont miss the chance to grab it"
Adios!

Thoughts and the difference!

A famous writer was in his study room. He picked up his pen and started writing:
**Last year, I had a surgery and my gall bladder was removed. I had to stay stuck to the bed due to this surgery for a long time.
**The same year I reached the age of 60 years and had to give up my favourite job. I had spent 30 years of my life in this publishing company.
**The same year I experienced the sorrow of the death of my father.
**And in the same year my son failed in his medical exam because he had a car accident. He had to stay in bed at hospital with the cast on for several days. The destruction of car was another loss.
At the end he wrote: Alas! It was such bad year!!
When the writer's wife entered the room, she found her husband looking sad lost in his thoughts. From behind his back she read what was written on the paper. She left the room silently and came back with another paper and placed it on side of her husband's writing.
When the writer saw this paper, he found this written on it:
**Last year I finally got rid of my gall bladder due to which I had spent years in pain.
**I turned 60 with sound health and got retired from my job. Now I can utilize my time to write something better with more focus and peace.
**The same year my father, at the age of 95, without depending on anyone or without any critical condition met his Creator.
**The same year, God blessed my son with a new life. My car was destroyed but my son stayed alive without getting any disability.
At the end she wrote:
This year was an immense blessing of God and it passed well!!
See!!
The same incidents but different viewpoints. If we ponder with this viewpoint that what could have happened more, we would truly become thankful to the Almighty.
Moral : In daily lives we must see that its not happiness that makes us grateful but gratefulness that makes us happy.
There is always, always, always something to be thankful for.
Stay Blessed
